These are all projects in various states in process as of winter 2024. – WIre Logic , involves a sizable body of work – click below to see past pieces. The sound piece Thank You For Having Me , has been long gestating and reaching a new phase involving crowd sourcing – click for more information. Catharctic examples will be shared soon. The Walls and Woodstack paintings are in their first stages.

WIRE LOGIC

This is a series of drawing/mixed media pieces based on wire configurations encountered in travels through SE Asia. The drawings are rendered in conductive graphite on paper with a separate mirroring panel with a mixed media diagram also appearing to channel power of some sort. Three new ones are in progress in the studio.

THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME

A sound piece that has been evolving over a period of years, it will ultimately be comprised of hundreds of crowd-sourced voices speaking the words of the title. Anyone can contribute their voice to the piece. Please contact me via email if you are interested in contributing or you can follow the guide I have posted here.

CATHARCTIC

Revisited/revised earlier pieces - composed for Sue Carman-Vian and the Catharctic Circle films and performances – translated to the solo keyboard. In the works - Cross Dressing, Candy Store, Chandelier Dress, and Tableze.

WALLS

Inspired from encounters with crusty layered walls [often documented over the years in my Instagram]. Working large - at wall scale - layering in many diagrams from sketchbooks.

WOODSTACK

inspired by observations of cleared trees for farming or firewood throughout central Kansas. The stacks of cleared trees are calling out to be translated into schematics.
